Carole Lilly

“I love that I get to wake up each day and share massage with you. It’s such a gift to slow down and take good care of ourselves.”

In 1996, I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis – a cousin to Rheumatoid. My joints and body began to hurt most of the time, despite shots and medication. I found that if I got up and moving, I felt better. If I got a massage on a regular basis, I felt even better. I wanted to share this enthusiasm for feeling my best with others, so in 2008 I founded Carole Lilly Massage.

I started offering therapeutic massage sessions in a small treatment room all by myself. I began taking as many advanced massage courses as I could, and brought these new techniques back to my sessions where we were seeing great results. This sparked a lifelong passion for education and a “beginner’s mind” curiosity in my approach to massage. Currently, I support clients in areas of relaxation, pain relief and ongoing maintenance. Some of my favorite styles of massage include Esalen Massage, Therapeutic Massage and Myofascial Release. Today, we have grown and expanded into our larger home at the McGuire Dental Building with a diverse group of massage therapists and services. Our family of therapists share my passion and devotion to advanced massage training and practice.

Terrie Cooper

“I am honored to share my presence with you and do my best to offer you the experience you desire.”

During a debilitating back injury 15 years ago, I pursued alternative healing methods (opting out of surgery) which took me on a path of Tai Chi, Taoist Inner Alchemy, Andean mysticism, Nahual mysticism, and journey and energy work/training with a Sufi trained medical intuitive, facilitating healing on many levels. Then it was time for massage school where I met Carole Lilly (one of my teachers), graduated, and was introduced to Esalen Massage. I pursued the 100 hour certification and Advanced Esalen Massage courses. I have also taken numerous Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian) workshops.

My passion for CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release (Upledger System) is what excites me most. This gentle hands on technique of working with the cerebrospinal fluid and surrounding tissues in the brain and spinal cord is phenomenal in facilitating healing.  It also is very effective in enhancing therapeutic bodywork – allowing it to have an even deeper effect.
I am always interested in learning something new that I can “bring to the table”. To balance that, I enjoy being in the woods… sometimes just sitting on a rock, being “walked” by my dog, Shastina, and having fun with family and friends. Oh yes, and traveling the North and South Americas.

I look forward to seeing you soon!  Terrie
